A convoy of 225 vehicles carrying fruits, vegetables, and other essential supplies has arrived in Kurram Parachinar district from Tal, bringing much-needed relief to the conflict-affectedtribal district.
The shipment, organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, includes food items, gas, petrol, and medicines. Upon arrival, the convoy was met with large crowds of locals eager to purchase the supplies.
Traders in Parachinar confirmed the arrival of the convoy, highlighting the inclusion of essential goods. However, locals have raised concerns over the high prices of these items in the market.
The business community has emphasized the need for at least 500 trucks to adequately meet the demands of the population.

Meanwhile, the district administration has reported rapid progress in the demolition of illegal bunkers, ensuring the process is carried out without discrimination.
This development comes after prolonged instability in Kurram, which had led to protests, school closures, and sit-ins due to the unavailability of essential goods and rations.
