Passport renewal fee for 2025: what you need to know

The Directorate General of Immigration & Passports, Islamabad, has announced the passport renewal fee for the year 2025-26.

The renewal fee for a Pakistani passport in 2025 varies based on the passport’s validity (5 or 10 years) and the number of pages (36, 72, or 100). According to  DGIP the fees for the different types of passports are as follows

  • For a 5-year passport:
    – 36 Pages: Rs. 4,500 (Normal), Rs. 7,925 (Fast-Track)
    – 72 Pages: Rs. 8,200 (Normal), Rs. 11,925 (Fast-Track)
    – 100 Pages: Rs. 9,000 (Normal), Rs. 14,925 (Fast-Track)
  • For a 10-year passport:
    – 36 Pages: Rs. 6,700 (Normal), Rs. 11,925 (Fast-Track)
    – 72 Pages: Rs. 12,825 (Normal), Rs. 19,125 (Fast-Track)
    – 100 Pages: Rs. 13,725 (Normal), Rs. 24,525 (Fast-Track)
