PCB suspends director international over Pak-India match issue

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board Director International has suspended due to a recent untoward incident and delayed responses against the March Referee in the Pakistan match of the Asia Cup.

 The decision of the board came at a time when Pakistan expressed serious disappointment over not shaking hands with the player upon the Andy Pycroft instruction. The Indian players, after throwing the toss, did not shake hands upon the instruction of the Match referee, Pycroft.

Pakistan has also threatened to boycott the Asia Cup if the match referee, Pycroft, is not removed or replaced in the upcoming events. Pakistan has lodged a strong protest over the recent events of misconduct by the Indian cricket team.
