LAHORE: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has issued an alert ahead of the 11th spell of monsoon rains, warning of possible flooding in rivers, streams, and nullahs.
A PDMA spokesperson said that rainfall is forecast in the upper catchment areas of rivers from Tuesday to Friday. The authority cautioned that heavy showers could raise water levels, creating a risk of flooding in vulnerable regions.
Citizens have been urged to remain vigilant and report emergencies by calling the 1129 helpline.
