PESHAWAR: To manage their budget and Eid expenses in this price hike era, people have preferred collective sacrifices on this Eid-ul-Azha to save extra money due to the skyrocketing prices of Animals.
According to details, due to the increase in the prices of animals, the number of collective sacrifices on Eid is likely to increase this time. In this regard, a share of the animal for collective sacrifice has been fixed in many districts of the province, including Peshawar.
It should be noted that due to the high prices of livestock this year, the number of people participating in collective sacrifice instead of individual sacrifice is continuously increasing. Each share has been fixed from Rs. 21,000 to Rs. 35,000. Due to high expenses and an increase in the prices of animals, various charitable organisations have also become active in collective sacrifices, while contributions are also being made for collective sacrifices in mosques and madrasas.
Charts have been installed for this purpose, and people are being attracted to contribute to the sacrificial animals. On the other hand, there are 09 days left for Eid, the city’s markets are deserted and there are no buyers after the increase in animal prices. Yesterday was a public holiday and traders in the markets were expecting more buyers, but despite this, there was no shopping in the various markets of the city.
