Peshawar Police arrest women over obscene TikTok content

PESHAWAR: Police have arrested two women for sharing obscene and immoral videos on TikTok in Peshawar.

According to details, Peshawar police have launched a crackdown against individuals for uploading and sharing unethical content on social media platforms.

During an operation conducted by Shahpur Police Station, Police arrested two women TikTok users were arrested for posting inappropriate content, in an operation conducted by Shahpur Police Station of the provincial capital.

While talking to local media person SSP Operations Masood Ahmad Bangash said that the arrested women were uploading indecent and unethical material on the platform, prompting immediate police action.

Authorities have also informed that letters are being sent to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to get the related accounts blocked.
