PESHAWAR: The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will begin with an exhibition match in Peshawar’s Arbab Niaz Stadium on April 8, setting the stage for a month-long cricket extravaganza.
The participating teams for the exhibition game will be announced later, marking the return of top-tier cricket to the city.
The main tournament will kick off on April 11 in Rawalpindi, where defending champions Islamabad United will face two-time winners Lahore Qalandars in a high-profile opening match.
The six-team competition will feature 34 matches played across four cities, culminating in the final on May 18.
Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including two eliminators and the final, while Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will stage 11 matches, including Qualifier 1 on May 13.
Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches during the tournament.
