ISLAMABAD: Prime minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday appointed member of the national assembly from Bajaur, Mubarak Zeb Khan, as a special assistant to his office.
According to a notification issued by the cabinet secretariat of the cabinet division on Thursday, PM Shehbaz Sharif has appointed four special assistants to his office for different portfolios.
The notification mentioned the newly appointed state ministers as Haroon Akhtar, Huzaifa Rehman, Mubarak Zeb and Talha Burki, who are elected from the different constituencies of Pakistan.
Mubarak Zeb is among the new special assistants who was declared winner after securing massive votes in the by-elections after the murder of his elder brother Rehan Zeb during general elections campaign.
Rehan Zeb was a pioneer worker of the Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf (PTI), and his brother is said to have won the seat with the great support of PTI workers after the PTI leadership refused to award him the party ticket for contesting the elections in Bajaur.
