PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the deadly bombing Darul Uloom Haqqania located in Akora Kattak, directing the authorities concerned to provide a thorough investigation report on the tragic incident.
The suicide bombing claimed at five lives, including Maulana Hamidul Haq and left around 25 injured.
In a statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life and prayed for those who passed away in the attack, urging that all necessary medical aid be provided to the injured as a priority.
The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur also condemned the attack and directed the IGP to submit detailed report on the incident. He said that targeting innocent people is an inhuman act.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also condemned the attack.
‘Cowardly and heinous acts of terrorism,” Prime Minister’s Office cited Shehbaz Sharif as saying in a statement.
