ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
State-run broadcast Radio Pakistan reported that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hold a telephonic conversation with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and appreciated the UAE’s strong support for Pakistan in various sectors. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties with the UAE for mutual benefit.
The UAE President warmly reciprocated the greetings and sent his best wishes to the people of Pakistan.
Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif also spoke with Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings and expressed Pakistan’s desire to expand ties with Bahrain, especially in trade and investment.
The Prime Minister thanked Bahrain’s leadership for supporting the Pakistani community living in the Kingdom.
