ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister PM Shehbaz Sharif has summoned an important meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday to deliberate on Pakistan’s political, economic, and security challenges.
The meeting, to be chaired by the PM, will be attended by federal ministers, advisers, and senior officials. Key agenda items include the country’s law and order situation, inflation, economic stability, and national security measures.
The cabinet will also approve recent decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), including financial allocations and sectoral policies. Additionally, a proposal to rename the “Frontier Constabulary” as the “Federal Constabulary” will be presented for approval.
Sources indicate that the meeting will outline strategies to address pressing economic concerns and reinforce security frameworks.
