ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister PM Shehbaz Sharif will chair an important federal cabinet meeting at 10:30 am today at Parliament House to discuss the country’s political, economic, and security situation.
According to sources, the cabinet will be briefed on decisions made during the recent National Security Committee meeting, along with expected policy announcements. A major agenda item includes the approval of the Finance Bill 2025-26, with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb set to present details on budget proposals, inflation control measures, development projects, and subsidy policies.
The meeting holds significance as the approved Finance Bill will later be presented in Parliament, shaping the government’s economic strategy for the upcoming fiscal year.
