Arbab Khizr Hayat Urges Immediate Action Amid Rising Insurgency in KP, Balochistan

PESHAWAR: Senior PML-N leader Arbab Khizr Hayat has strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)  call for protests on August 14th, Pakistan’s Independence Day.

Hayat stated that the entire nation should demonstrate unity on Independence Day. He argued that PTI’s plan to hold protests instead is “tantamount to challenging the unity of the state.”

The PML-N leader went further, claiming that “giving the impression that protest should be held on Independence Day is like not recognizing the existence of Pakistan.” He added that anyone who doesn’t recognize Pakistan’s existence “cannot be a well-wisher of this nation.”

Hayat concluded by alleging that “PTI’s protest on August 14 is nothing but pleasing enemies like Modi,” directly referencing India’s Prime Minister.
