Police buildings established with public donations in KP, Says Babak

ISLAMABAD: The Awami National Party (ANP) senior leader and former provincial minister, Sardar Hussain Babak has claimed that most Police stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are built with public collections.

These comments were made by Sardar Hussain Babak, a senior leader of the Awami National Party, during his appearance on the Pakhtun Digital Podcast.

Sardar Hussain Babak stated that terrorists are operating openly in every district, while the provincial government is not providing any financial or administrative support to the police.

He mentioned that the police lack funds for fuel for their vehicles and are not receiving their monthly rations. As a result, police stations are being built in the province through public donations, (Donations) leading to a decline in the morale of police personnel.

He further said while criticizing the provincial government that while the Chief Minister of Punjab is initiating projects of public interest, the ruling party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa seems preoccupied with carrying weapons to Islamabad every other day.

Babak criticized the provincial government, questioning why they do not protest for the rights of the province from the federal government.

He asked why they do not announce that if the province is not granted its rights, all assembly members will protest in Islamabad.
