BAJAUR: A police officer was shot dead by unknown assailants in Inayat Kaly Samar area of Bajaur on Sunday evening.
According to the police, Quick Reaction Force (QRF) in-charge was martyred in firing by unknown assailants in the Inayat Kalay Badi Samur area of Bajaur.
According to the police, the attackers managed to escape after the firing, and a search operation is underway to find them.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and alerted the check post of the district.
Police say that the investigation into the incident is ongoing and the accused will be arrested soon.
