BAJAUR; A bomb explosion occurred near the house of Havaldar Ilyas in the Kohi area of Salarzai Tehsil on Wednesday late night, causing damage but no injuries, police confirmed.
The blast targeted the main gate of the residence, destroying the entrance and a nearby vehicle. Local law enforcement, including Bajaur District Police Officer (DPO) Waqas Rafique, swiftly arrived at the scene to secure the area and launch an investigation.
Authorities have not yet identified the perpetrators or the motive behind the attack. Security has been heightened in the are following the incident.
DPO Rafique assured that further details would be shared as the probe progresses. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
