NOWSHERA: A police sub-inspector was killed in a terror attack in Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday.
As per details, the Police sub-inspector identified as Muhammad Ilyas Khan, was on his way to the office when unknown armed men intercepted his car on Kheshgi road. “Armed men intercepted his car and opened indiscriminate firing on his car. As a result, Muhammad Ilyas Khan was killed on the spot.
Rescue officials of 1122 and police rushed to the site and took the dead body of the sub-inspector to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.

A search operation has been launched in the area as soon as the incident was reported. Police authorities say that the incident is being investigated.
