The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has filed a petition with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Islamabad against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government over a massive financial scandal in Kohistan.
According to the spokesperson of the PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gohar Inqilabi, a petition has been filed with the NAB against mega corruption in Kohistan.
He says the petition has been filed by the provincial general secretary of the PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shazi Khan.
Gohar Inqilabi says that those who accuse others of corruption have turned out to be certified thieves.
“Those who call themselves claimants of the state of Medina have committed corruption worth Rs40 billion in just one department from 2020 to 2024. A fake construction company was created in the name of a dumper driver and a transaction of Rs40 billion was made in his account,” the PPP statement read.
The PPP leaders say those who have washed their hands in this flowing Ganga are also involved in the corruption.
The PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa demands that their names be brought before the public, because these people who pretend to be pious are completely immersed in corruption.
It mentioned that the silence of the provincial government on setting the worst example in history is a matter of concern.
