PPP Humayun Khan pays tribute to Police on the eve of ‘Police martyred Day’

PESHAWAR: Paying tributes to Police sacrifices on the occasion of Police Martyrs Day, Provincial President Pakistan People’s Party Hamayun Khan said that the KP police played a front-line role in the war against terrorism and their sacrifices would be written with golden words in the book of history.

He said that Police martyrs are our national heroes, whose sacrifices are unforgettable and have sacrificed their lives for the protection of the nation, which will be remembered forever. He saluted the brave police soldiers who sacrificed their lives to establish peace and order in the country. He said that the police force has made the nation proud by sacrificing their lives against terrorism, unrest and crime. Humayun Khan said that they are on the frontline against terrorism and unrest.

He stressed that the government start welfare projects for the families of the Police Martyrs to fulfil their every need and hardship. He said that Martyrs’ families should be provided with complete protection, education and employment, and hoped that PPP will keep will always keep the mission of martyrs alive.

Police Martyrs Day is celebrated each year on August 04 to pay tribute to the sacrifices of the police forces who always put their lives at risk for the sake of others. The parents and families of the martyred are invited to the Peshawar Police line, where a colourful event is organised each year in their honour.
