PESHAWAR: Pakistan Peoples Party parliamentary leader in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Ahmed Karim Kundi has said that the one-year performance of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been disappointing. The PPP will soon issue a white paper against it, in which the government’s failures will be brought to the public in detail.
In an exclusive interview with Pakhtun Digital, Ahmed Karim Kundi said that the PPP has put the facts before the public on serious issues like education, agriculture, local government system, farmers’ problems, wheat and health scandal, Ramadan package, corruption in construction projects and buying and selling of government jobs.
He alleged that jobs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are being sold for millions of rupees, even for a class-four job, a bribe of Rs 1 million is being taken. Bids for jobs are being held at CM House, while bills are being passed in government development projects by taking 15% commission.
He added that the province’s resources are being spent on political matters in Islamabad, while the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is stagnant. Ahmed Karim Kundi said that there has been no improvement in the NFC award, PFC, law and order situation, and other important issues.
