Those who attack passengers are against Balochistan and its traditions. The Baloch nation rejects attacks on unarmed passengers, elders and children and those who take them hostage. No religion or society allows such heinous acts.
Asif Zardari paid tribute to the security forces for the effective action taken by them and praised the bravery of the forces in rescuing the passengers of the Jafar Express. The President prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the Jafar Express attack.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif strongly condemned the cowardly attack on the Jaffar Express and said that the security forces are fighting the terrorists with bravery and professionalism. Despite the difficult roads, the morale of the officers and personnel of the forces is high. The security forces are pushing the cowardly terrorists back. The officers and personnel of the security forces will soon succeed in this operation. They will bring the cowardly terrorists to their end. The beastly terrorists who carried out the cowardly attack do not deserve any concessions. Terrorists are enemies of the development of Balochistan. The religion of terrorists has nothing to do with Islam, Pakistan and Balochistan. We will continue the war against the monster of terrorism until it is completely eradicated from the country. We will thwart every conspiracy to spread unrest and chaos in Pakistan. We will never allow the evil intentions of the anti-national elements to succeed. The entire nation stands by our security forces in this war against terrorism.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi
Condemning the attack on the Jafar Express near Bolan, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the beasts who opened fire on innocent passengers do not deserve any concession. The Interior Minister prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the firing.
Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti
Describing the incident as cowardly terrorism, Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned it and said that those who attacked the Jafar Express will be brought to justice and there will be no place on earth for those who shed blood. He said that those who challenged the writ of the state in Balochistan would be annihilated. He termed the attack on the state intolerable and announced that the killer would be killed selectively.
Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti assured the people that he will not rest until the enemies are eliminated and the people do not need to be afraid. He said that the security agencies are in pursuit of the terrorists, and no terrorist will escape. A search operation by the security forces is underway in the area, which will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.

He said that attacks on public transport not only cause the loss of innocent lives but are a heinous conspiracy to disrupt the daily routines of citizens and spread fear and panic in society.
The ANP central president demanded that the government conduct an immediate and transparent investigation into this tragic incident, bring the responsible terrorists and their facilitators to justice, and take concrete steps to prevent such attacks in the future.
