Prominent figures applaud ‘Pakhtun Digital’ during inauguration ceremony held in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The launching ceremony of Pakhtun Digital was held at a local hotel in Peshawar, attended by leaders of various political parties, journalists, and other notable figures.

Prominent attendees included Senator Fida Muhammad, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, Awami National Party (ANP) Central President Mian Iftikhar Hussain, ANP senior leader and former provincial minister Sardar Hussain Babak, and former President of Peshawar Press Club Arshad Aziz Malik, along with several other political and media personalities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senator Fida Muhammad extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Pakhtun nation on behalf of himself and his team. He stated that Pakhtun Digital has been established for the peace, development, and prosperity of the Pakhtun people, and they will make every effort to ensure its success.

He emphasised that their goal is to expand Pakhtun Digital’s reach so that more Pakhtun youth can benefit from it. He further mentioned that he is investing his time, resources, and energy to secure a better future for Pakhtun youth by providing them with greater opportunities.

In response to a question, he said that Pakhtun Digital was a dream that has now become a reality. He added that when intentions are pure, Allah blesses all efforts, and he hoped this platform would help young Pakhtuns progress on the path of development.

Addressing the youth, Senator Fida Muhammad stated that Pakhtun Digital will create employment opportunities and highlight the issues faced by young people. He noted that this is the first digital platform dedicated to the Pakhtun nation, designed to showcase their talents and help them build a brighter future.

Governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi congratulated the Pakhtun Digital administration and said that the platform would serve as the voice of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing positive aspects of the province to the global stage.

He expressed hope that just as Peshawar was once known as the “City of Flowers” and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for its natural beauty, Pakhtun Digital will promote a positive image of the province worldwide.

Arshad Aziz Malik 
Former President of Peshawar Press Club, Arshad Aziz Malik, also congratulated the Pakhtun Digital team, stating that the platform will not only serve as the voice of the people but will also create employment opportunities for journalists.

Arbab Alamgir – Pakistan People’s Party
Senior PPP leader Arbab Alamgir welcomed the growth of digital media in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, noting that such a platform had been needed for a long time. He congratulated the Pakhtun Digital team and assured his full support.

He emphasised that this platform will play a crucial role in highlighting the province’s issues at both national and international levels.

Renowned journalist Shamim Shahid also congratulated the Pakhtun Digital team and called it a significant development.

The attendees expressed their hope that Pakhtun Digital will be a valuable addition to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s media landscape. They believed that the platform will not only highlight public issues but also promote the province’s culture, history, and development projects.
