SWAT: Prominent TikToker Breet Khan was critically injured when unknown assailants opened fire on him in Aligram area of Swat on Monday.
Local sources said that Breet Khan came to Swat for some recreational purpose and remained there for some days when unknown bike riders traced him and targeted him with firing in Aligram area. Police said that it is under investigation who was behind the tragic incident and what was the motive behind the attack.
The victim was shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital, where he was provided emergency medical treatment. He sustained bullet injuries to his right hand.
It is the second incident in a month, as earlier to this, a 17-year-old Sana Yousaf, a popular TikTok creator from Islamabad, was shot and killed in her home.
The suspect, a male relative, was arrested shortly after. He reportedly acted out of anger after being rejected by Sana multiple times. Her death triggered national outrage, highlighting issues of gender violence and online harassment.
