RAWALPINDI: In the 27th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Karachi Kings delivered a commanding performance on Saturday, setting a 238-run target for Peshawar Zalmi.
Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and chose to bowl first, but the decision backfired as Karachi’s top order launched a fierce onslaught. David Warner led the charge with a spectacular 86-run knock, while James Vince added an aggressive 72, laying the foundation for one of the tournament’s highest team totals so far.
Khushdil Shah added a quickfire 43, and Mohammad Nabi remained unbeaten on 26. Irfan Khan scored 2 runs before the innings wrapped up at the close of 20 overs.
Zalmi’s bowling attack struggled to contain the explosive batting display. Luke Wood was the standout performer with two wickets, while Ali Za and Arif Yaqoob picked up one wicket each.
The high-scoring innings promises a gripping second half as Zalmi face a daunting chase under pressure.
