KARACHI: In an outstanding performance of James Vince led the Karachi Kings to victory over the Quetta Gladiators in match 8 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL X) at the National Stadium in Karachi on Friday.
The Karachi Kings thrashed the Quetta Gladiators by 56 runs.
The Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bat first, setting a target of 176 runs for the Quetta Gladiators. In their chase, the Gladiators struggled and were bowled out for just 120 runs, resulting in a defeat by 56 runs.

The Kings had a solid start but struggled with wickets, losing Khushdil Shah for just one run, leaving them at 91-4. A 34-run partnership between James Vince and Irfan Khan brought some stability. However, Irfan was dismissed by Sean Abbott for 17, making it 125-5. Vince continued to impress, reaching his second fifty of the tournament alongside Mohammad Nabi. In the final over, Mohammad Amir took two quick wickets, ending the Kings’ innings at 175-7. Amir and Ali Majid took two wickets each for the Gladiators, while Abbott, Abrar Ahmed, and Saud Shakeel each claimed one.
