PSL X likely to resume later this week, sources say

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced an updated schedule for the remaining eight matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season X, finalising key dates and venues.

According to the revised plan, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host back-to-back double-headers on May 17 and 18, with two matches scheduled on each day.

Teams will observe a two-day rest period on May 19 and 20 to gear up for the all-important playoff stage.

In a notable shift, the playoffs—including the Qualifier, Eliminator, and the Final—will now take place in Lahore, beginning May 21. This change departs from the previous plan to host all remaining matches in Rawalpindi due to logistical limitations.

Sources indicate that the PCB decided after reassessing operational feasibility and consulting key stakeholders, including team franchises and broadcasters.

The grand finale of PSL 10 remains scheduled for May 25, bringing to a close a tournament that had earlier encountered delays due to scheduling conflicts and foreign player availability.

The PCB is expected to issue the complete revised match schedule in the coming days.

Despite earlier disagreements over foreign player participation, the league is now on track to conclude smoothly, thanks to coordinated efforts by the PCB and franchises.
