PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar directed party workers to demonstrate unity

Barrister Gohar refutes rumors regarding PTI leadership meeting with US delegation  

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan underline the need for unity and discipline among the party workers to address the challenges facing the party.

Talking to the media after the parliamentary party meeting, Barrister Gohar said that PTI founder Imran Khan has directed that the workers should set aside their differences and focus all their attention on his release and the objectives of the movement.

He said that the meeting strongly condemned the poor treatment of Imran Khan in jail and demanded that party leaders and lawyers be given immediate access to the party leader.

Barrister Gohar said that this is the time to prioritize party discipline and struggle above personal interests. “It is the responsibility of all of us to take the party movement to its peak by August 5, so that we are successful in our struggle for the release of our leader and protection of the public mandate.

On the other hand, PTI leader Sheikh Waqas Akram, while speaking at the meeting, said that the parliamentary party has unanimously rejected the recent increase in the prices of petroleum products.

He said that this move of the government was an unbearable burden on the people, against which the PTI will raise its voice at all levels.
