ISLAMABAD : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan has expressed deep concern over the devastating floods in Punjab, stating that the calamity has caused severe difficulties for numerous families.
In a statement on Thursday, the PTI Chairman extended his party’s heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the natural disaster. He emphasized that this is a time for national unity that transcends political differences.
“This is a time of humanitarian compassion beyond politics,” Barrister Gohar said. He made a strong appeal to the nation to come together in this hour of need and assist the victims in every way possible, urging everyone to contribute according to their resources to help restore normalcy to the lives of the affected people.
Furthermore, Chairman Gohar called upon the government and all relevant welfare institutions to accelerate their relief and rehabilitation operations in the flood-stricken areas to ensure immediate and effective assistance reaches the victims.
