PTI created 6.8 million jobs in three years, claims Muzammil Aslam

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Advisor Muzammil Aslam said that the people decided to give the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government three times in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa because they could not do anything in 75 years.
Speaking in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session, Muzammil Aslam said that the PPP did not raise its voice on the eighth and ninth NFC awards.
He said that our government received Rs 3 billion under the NHP (National Hydel Power) in the current month alone, and a total of Rs 36 billion has been received so far.
The Finance Advisor further said that we expanded the one-point agenda of the CCI (Council of Common Interest) to four points and organised an NFC conference to create harmony between the provinces.
He said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will establish an autonomous institution at the provincial level on the lines of NEPRA to determine electricity tariffs.
Talking about the tribal districts, Muzammil Aslam said that Rs 13.3 billion has been allocated for solar energy projects to eliminate load shedding and overcome the energy crisis in the tribal districts.
The Finance Advisor said that the royalty on oil and gas has been increased from 10 per cent to 15 per cent at the regional level, so that the distribution of resources is more equitable.
Talking about the poverty situation, he said, “When the founder of the Tehreek-e-Insaf government came, the poverty rate was 40 per cent, and when the government left, it had come down to 35 per cent, but unfortunately, now this rate has again reached 45 per cent.” He claimed that the PTI government recruited 6.8 million people in three years, while the second-ranked PPP also recruited a smaller number. Criticising the Sindh government, the Finance Advisor said that the salary of the labourer was not increased there, while the Punjab government, following Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, set the minimum wage at Rs. 40,000.
