Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Saif, has strongly condemned the recent convictions of PTI leaders, stating that these sentences are part of a well-orchestrated political scheme aimed at weakening the movement for the release of Imran Khan.
He said the timing of these false convictions just before the launch of the movement for Imran Khan’s release indicates a desperate attempt by the illegitimate government to suppress the PTI leadership and its supporters.
“The sentencing of our leaders in fabricated cases reveals the fear and panic within the fake regime regarding the growing momentum of the movement for Imran Khan’s freedom,” said Dr. Saif.
“These actions will not succeed in intimidating our leadership or silencing our party.”
Barrister Saif further condemned the unjust 10-year prison sentence handed to Dr. Yasmin Rashid, a senior PTI leader battling cancer, describing it as an example of the cruelty and inhumanity of the current regime. Despite the convictions, he praised the unwavering courage of Dr. Rashid and other party leaders.
“Their resilience in the face of injustice is truly commendable,” he added.
Dr. Saif affirmed that preparations for the nationwide campaign for Imran Khan’s release are in full swing, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the leadership of Ali Amin Khan Gandapur. Worker conventions and corner meetings are being held across the province, many of which are transforming into massive public gatherings, highlighting the enthusiasm of both PTI workers and the general public.
These gatherings are a clear sign of public support and the unstoppable spirit of our workers,” he added.
He concluded by stating that the entire province is mobilised and the people are actively participating in preparations for the movement. PTI leaders and workers are ready to make any sacrifice for the release of their leader, Imran Khan.
