PTI MNAs resign from National Assembly standing committees

The members of the national assembly of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) have resigned from the standing committees’ memberships after the instructions from the party founder, Imran Khan.

The development came after Imran Khan’s orders to the party MNAs to tender their resignations from the National Assembly Standing Committees memberships on Wednesday.

The PTI’s MNA and provincial general secretary of the PTI, Ali Asghar Khan resigned from the memberships of the Standing Committee on Planning and Development, the Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat
Standing Privatisation Committees.

Similarly, PTI MNA Suhaik Sultan also resigned from the standing committees on the orders of the founding chairman.
Sohail Sultan, advocate, resigned from the Law and Justice, Water Resources and SAFRON committees.
PTI’s Sohail Sultan submitted his resignation to the party.

The PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s president, Junaid Akbar  also resigned as Chairman Public Accounts Committee
In accordance with party policy, Junaid Akbar sent his resignation from the post of Chairman PAC to Chief Whip Aamir Dogar.
