PTI to hold protest in front of High Court over delaying cases of Imran Khan: Barrister Saif

No more 'fantastic tea,' only bitter, unbearable tea awaits India: Saif

ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Saif has announced a that PTI will staged protest outside the Islamabad High Court over the undue delay in hearing Imran Khan’s cases.

He said that there will be a full-scale protest outside the Islamabad High Court today, and all opposition parties have been invited to the protest. Barrister Saif said that the cases of PTI founder Imran Khan should be heard by breaking the chains of the 26th Constitutional Amendment, which has paralyzed the judicial system.

He said that delaying justice is tantamount to denying justice, delaying the hearing of cases proves that the cases are false, if there was something in the cases, there would have been no delay. Barrister Saif said that the purpose of delaying the cases is to keep Imran Khan in prison, Imran Khan is on the nerves of the fake government and with his release, the fake government is seeing its end.  Meanwhile Ali Muhammad Khan has said that PTI does not support any unconstitutional or illegal move, but will protect the mandate of its voters at all costs.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Ali Muhammad Khan says that reserved seats are given to each party in proportion to the votes it obtained in the general election according to the constitution, and there is no scope for any reduction or excess. In a statement, Ali Muhammad Khan said that the current government does not have a case for reserved seats, as many seats as they were entitled to have been given to them. If they are given even one extra seat, it will be tantamount to a constitutional violation, just like not giving any party its legitimate right.

He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is hopeful for its constitutional right to reserved seats and we want to be given our right according to justice. He said that we are taking this matter forward legally and we are confident that the judiciary will decide according to the constitution and justice. Ali Muhammad Khan stressed that PTI does not support any unconstitutional or illegal move, but will protect the mandate of its voters at all costs. It should be noted that legal and constitutional disputes are ongoing between different political parties regarding the distribution of reserved seats after the general elections, on which proceedings are also pending in the courts.
