PESHAWAR: PTI workers broke the windows of the car allegedly belonging to two women who attacked Aleema Khan while police took the women into their custody and shifted them to Adiala Police check post.
An egg was thrown at Aleema Khan, the sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, outside Adiala Jail, resulting in the arrest of two women. According to sources, Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khanum had reached Adiala Jail for the hearing of the Toshakhana Case II.
Aleema Khan was talking to the media outside Adiala Jail when someone threw an egg at her. After this incident, PTI workers surrounded the women and broke the windows of their car. Later, the police took the two women who threw the egg into custody. Sources said that Aleema Khan was attacked while talking to the media at Dahgal Naka.
Sources say that the women who threw the egg ran away and got into their car, after which a large number of PTI workers surrounded their car and broke its windows. After the incident, the party workers started a ruckus, and the police detained two women from the spot and shifted them to Adiala Chowki.
Police say that the women who threw eggs belong to PTI. Police say that Aleema Khan refused to answer the questions of the women, and when she did not get an answer, the girls threw eggs at her. On the other hand, Aleema Khan said in a conversation with the media that the atmosphere has definitely changed. Look at the anger of the people; the direction of the country will be understood. This is not the founder’s voice, but the voice of the nation is being suppressed.
She said that you people are getting a lesson from the injustice you have done. The police also say that we are fed up. Aleema Khan further said that the injustice that is happening to the founder is happening to the nation; this system is not acceptable to anyone.
Two women asked that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government employees were protesting, but when Aleema Khan refused to answer the questions, the girls threw eggs at her.
