ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat has strongly criticized his own party’s leadership for the unsuccessful protests on August 5. In a tweet, Marwat called the demonstrations a “complete failure” and blamed the Islamabad and Rawalpindi leadership for not showing up.

Marwat claimed that  Raja Inqilabi (Salaman Akram Raja), avoided leading the protests and instead took shelter behind Achakzai. He questioned the reasons behind the protest’s failure and expressed disappointment over Punjab’s lack of participation.

The PTI leader acknowledged that if it weren’t for Ali Amin Khan’s efforts, the party would have had no notable presence during the protests. His remarks highlight growing internal dissatisfaction within PTI over its organizational weaknesses.
