Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PT) has finalised preparations for the proposed nationwide protest demonstration on August 5.
The party’s top leadership has taken decisive steps after thorough consultation on the schedule and strategy of the protest.
All members of the National Assembly and Senate have been summoned to Islamabad, where they will participate in the protest outside Adiala Jail. On this occasion, solidarity will be expressed with party Chairman Imran Khan.
The party has issued instructions that members of provincial assemblies will register protests in their respective constituencies. Consultations have been completed with all provincial presidents and chief organisers for the organisation and coordination of the protest.
This movement will be run under the banner of “Protecting the Constitution of Pakistan”.
