PTI’s political activities intensify, joint parliamentary party meeting held in Islamabad today

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has called an important joint parliamentary party meeting in Islamabad today to discuss the current political situation and the future strategy of the protest movement.

The meeting will be held at KP House, Islamabad, in which members of the national and provincial assemblies (MNAs and MPAs) have been invited to participate. Consultation on the next phase of the protest movement will be also be held.

According to party sources, the main agenda of the meeting is to prepare for the next phase of the current protest movement and obtain suggestions on making it more effective and organized.

According to private TV channel “Aaj News”, the meeting will discuss the political situation with the members of the assembly and finalize the strategy for the freedom movement.On the other hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will arrive in Lahore this evening, where his political engagements will include several important meetings. According to sources, he will have a special meeting with Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Khan Bhachar.

Ali Amin Gandapur will also meet senior PTI leaders and Punjab Assembly members in Lahore. The aim of these meetings is to further mobilize and organize the PTI’s freedom movement in Punjab.

Sources say that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister will also address the PTI’s Punjab Assembly members, after which a dinner will be hosted in his honor at a private farmhouse. At the dinner, the party’s central leadership and leaders will consult on the movement’s future strategy.

These political activities are taking place at a time when the leadership of the PTI has given signals to organize a protest movement across the country again, and the party is intensifying communication and consultation at the organizational level.
