PESHAWAR: Widespread showers across several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Eid-ul-Azha brought a welcome break from the intense heat, uplifting the spirits of residents on Saturday.
In Bajaur district, heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds significantly improved weather conditions. Locals, weary from days of scorching temperatures, were visibly relieved and joyful.
Rain was also recorded in Landi Kotal, Darra Adamkhel, and Kohat, while a heavy downpour in Jamrud further enhanced the festive atmosphere of Eid celebrations.
However, the downpours caused temporary power outages in some parts of the region.
