PESHAWAR: Cloudy and rainy weather is expected in various parts of the country as the meteorological department forecasts rain in isolated areas for the upcoming 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, most of the areas in Islamabad and the upper parts of the country received torrential rain which including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Potohar region. For the upcoming 24 hours, rain is expected in Isolated parts of the country. The northern parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit and Kashmir are likely to receive more rain, while the southern parts of the country will remain hot and humid.
The people of the northern areas have been advised to keep a vigilant watch over children, as in some areas water level may increase more than the normal flow. Those who are living in slum areas have been advised to keep their roof dry without any accumulation of water to avoid roof damage due to rainwater.
