Rains continue in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Balochistan and Baltistan divisions, due to which the heat wave has broken and the weather has become pleasant.
Light and heavy rains have occurred in many areas including the cities of Lahore, Sargodha and Bhalwal in Punjab. Power supply has been suspended in some places due to the rain.
On the special instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, WASA alert has been issued so that the citizens do not face any possible difficulty.
The weather has also become pleasant after the rain in the cities of Karak Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda, Peshawar and its surrounding areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pre-monsoon rains have started in the central and eastern regions of Balochistan. Rains have also been recorded in other areas including the Koh-e-Sulaiman Range.

The possibility of rain has also been announced in Baltistan division from today, while according to the Meteorological Department, this series of rains has been predicted to continue until June 29.
