ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Rana Sanaullah has stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will continue his current political approach, asserting that his statements “hold no special significance.” Speaking on Hum News, the minister emphasized Gandapur’s dual role of cooperation with federal authorities while maintaining his political stance.
Regarding the Tirah Valley situation, Sanaullah dismissed rumors as part of an “Indian conspiracy,” confirming an intelligence-based operation is underway. “India has historically failed in such maneuvers, and Pakistan will firmly safeguard its territorial integrity,” he declared.
On PTI’s alleged protest movement, the minister called claims of an August 5 uprising “baseless,” noting Imran Khan remains focused on legal battles rather than mass mobilization. “May 9 perpetrators will face consequences as evidence is factual,” he added, while acknowledging Khan’s right to pursue judicial relief.
Sanaullah confirmed Nawaz Sharif’s active advisory role in PML-N despite not holding office, with regular party consultations on governance matters. Regarding PTI founder’s overseas children, he termed their return a “personal choice,” affirming their right to reunite with their father.
