The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has approved the summary, and the interviews for the vacancies advertised in February 2022 for Rescue 1122 will officially begin on October 15, 2025.
These recruitments have been managed through the ETEA (Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency). The process has included all necessary steps, such as physical and written tests, as well as the announcement of candidates who passed the ETEA test.
The recruitment advertisement under ETEA was published in February 2022. Following this, physical tests were conducted from March to July 2022, and the written examination took place from September to October 2022.
Following the instructions of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the entire recruitment process will be conducted with a commitment to justice, merit, and transparency, adhering to the merit policy of the provincial government. For the first time in the country’s history, the Rescue 1122 interviews will be broadcast live through social media to ensure transparency in the process.
Additionally, representatives from government accountability institutions, including NAB (National Accountability Bureau), the Anti-Corruption Authority, and Transparency International, along with members of civil society and the media, will be invited by the Director General of Rescue 1122 to monitor the interview process. This initiative aims to ensure that every stage of the recruitment is completed fairly and according to merit.
