BAJAUR: (PAKHTUN ENGLISH) As security forces continue their operation in Bajaur, the district administration has ordered the immediate evacuation of residents from 24 additional villages to safeguard civilian lives and property.
In an official statement issued by the district administration, residents have been directed to leave their homes and move to safer locations by 10 AM on August 16, 2025. The evacuation, officials said, is a temporary measure being implemented in view of ongoing security efforts in the region.
The villages affected by the latest directive include Malangi, Spray, Davogai, Mena Suleman Khel, Khorchai, Chamyar Jod, Zagai, Gut, Agra, Ghandai, Zare, Nakhtar, Mulla Kale, and Bakro. Additionally, residents of Guwati, Chamyal, Lar Kalan, Bur Kalan, Ghanem Shah, Chautra, Damadola, Sultan Beg, Inam Khoro, and Anga have also been instructed to evacuate without delay.
Authorities have emphasised that the step is being taken purely in the interest of public safety. Coordination efforts are underway to assist affected families in relocating to designated safe areas.
The district administration has urged residents to cooperate fully and ensure timely compliance with the evacuation order to avoid any potential risks.
