Air Vice Marshal Shehryar Khan, while speaking at the Defence Day ceremony, said that next time the score will not be 6-0 but 60-0.
He said that the Pakistan Air Force has always lived up to the hopes of the people, the enemy has failed on every front and technological innovation has made the Pakistan Air Force famous all over the world.He further said that the defense of Pakistan’s airspace is in strong hands.
Today, Defence and Martyrs Day is being celebrated with full national enthusiasm across Pakistan. The day began with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21-gun salute in the provincial capitals.
After Fajr prayers, special prayers were offered in mosques for the security and prosperity of Pakistan. A grand ceremony of changing the guards was held at the Quaid-e-Azam shrine in Karachi, in which Air Vice Marshal Shahryar Khan attended as the special guest.
On this occasion, the Air Vice Marshal said that it is an honor for the Pakistan Air Force Academy Asghar Khan to perform the duties of guards at the Quaid-e-Azam shrine.
It may be recalled that in the war that took place in May this year, the Pakistani armed forces destroyed several warplanes, including the latest Rafale aircraft, and also targeted several airfields.
