Rs. 2 million per family: KP boosts flood victim compensation

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has increased compensation for families of flood victims to Rs 2 million per family, doubling the initial amount of Rs 1 million.

The announcement came during Gandapur’s visit to flood-hit Buner district, where he chaired an emergency meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office to review relief efforts.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gauhar Khan, provincial ministers, the Chief Secretary, and local officials attended the meeting. Attendees also offered prayers for those who died in the floods
