The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs. 10,000, reaching Rs. 338,800 on Friday, compared to Rs. 328,800 on the previous trading day, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 8,573, changing from Rs. 281,893 to Rs. 290,466. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw an increase, rising from Rs. 258,411 to Rs. 266,261.
In contrast, the prices for silver remained unchanged, with per tola priced at Rs. 3,234 and 10 grams at Rs. 2,772.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $100, moving from $3,118 to $3,218, while silver prices increased to $31.30, according to the Association.
