Russia Removes Taliban from Terrorist List

Russia has confirmed its delegation for fresh peace negotiations with Ukraine, scheduled to take place in Istanbul on Thursday. The talks will be led by Vladimir Medinsky, who previously headed Moscow’s negotiation team during the 2022 discussions.

The announcement comes as US Secretary of State arrives in Antalya, signaling intensified global diplomatic efforts to resolve the ongoing conflict. Turkey is mediating the talks, which are expected to focus on three key issues:

1) Implementation of an immediate ceasefire

2) Coordination of humanitarian aid deliveries

3) Framework for a potential political settlement

Turkish officials have positioned the meeting as a crucial opportunity to bridge differences between the warring parties. The Ukrainian delegation’s composition remains unconfirmed at this stage.
