SA v NZ: South Africa to face New Zealand in second semi-final of Champions Trophy today

LAHORE: In-form South Africa and New Zealand, the two best sides to have never won a World Cup, will meet each other today in the second semi-final of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 here at the Qaddafi Stadium Lahore on Wednesday.

The winning team will join India in the final, which will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium under a hybrid model due to the Indian team refusal to visit Pakistan for matches.

On Monday, the in-form South Africa spend two days in travel when it flayed out to Dubai and returned to Lahore once the semifinal matchups were confirmed after India played its last group game against New Zealand on Sunday.

Lahore is the favourite venue for New Zealand, who are looking to bounce back from their defeat by India,  where it played and won matches of tri-series matches against Pakistan and ICC Champions Trophy.

The match will start at 2pm.
