HARRIPUR: Ms. Ayesha Tahira, the Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) of Khanpur, visited Khanpur Dam along with Assistant Commissioner Khanpur, Ms. Tizin Zafar.
During the visit, they conducted a detailed review of the facilities available for tourists. They inspected various jetty points and gathered feedback directly from people visiting the dam for sightseeing and entertainment.
TMO Tahira issued clear instructions to all jetty operators, mandating the strict implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). She warned that legal action will be taken against any jetty owner found violating the rules.
Tahira emphasized that providing clean, safe, and law-abiding facilities for tourists is their top priority. She stated that ensuring public safety is a shared responsibility
