BAJAUR: While many graduates wait years for government jobs, Sajid Khan, a Malakand University alumnus from Bajaur, chose a different path—starting his own pushcart business. His story of hard work and dedication has become an inspiration for unemployed youth.
Instead of sitting idle, Sajid embraced self-reliance, proving that dignity lies in effort, not just employment status. Even while running his business, he keeps his passion for learning alive, often seen with a book in hand during breaks or on his way home.
Speaking to Pakhtun Digital, Sajid said, “Other nations prosper because people take initiative. Pakistan’s situation is tough, but that doesn’t mean we should do nothing.” He believes hard work earns respect, and many in his community admire his determination.
However, Sajid also urged the government to create more job opportunities so educated youth can contribute to the economy. “Employment is key to progress,” he stressed.
His message is clear: Success comes to those who act, not just wait.
