Senior politician Sardar Hussain Babak, in an interview with Pakhtun Digital, strongly criticized the performance of the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). He highlighted that the PTI has been in power in the province for 12 years but has failed to address critical issues, such as the opening of Pak-Afghan trade routes, which could have significantly boosted the region’s economy.
Babak accused the KP government of consistently focusing on criticizing the federal government rather than advocating for the province’s interests. He pointed out that the KP government has never taken a strong stance on important matters, such as protesting in Islamabad for the NFC award, which is crucial for the province’s financial stability.

Additionally, Babak emphasized his party’s contributions to the province, including creating employment opportunities and establishing universities. In contrast, he criticized the PTI government for not only failing to generate jobs but also for allegedly selling university lands, which he described as a deeply regrettable action.
This critique underscores growing concerns about the PTI’s governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its impact on the province’s development.
